This association was established by a group of people interested in the most versatile horse in the world, the American Quarter Horse.
The mission statement of IQHA is,
- To record and preserve the pedigrees of the American Quarter Horse while maintaining the integrity of the breed.
To provide beneficial services for its members which enhance and encourage American Quarter Horse ownership and participation. - To develope diverse educational programs, material and curriculum that will position AQHA as the leading resource organization in the equine industry.
- To generate growth of IQHA/AQHA membership via the marketing, promotion, advertising and publicity of the American Quarter Horse.

It is with great regret that we report the death of our great friend and member Mr. Eamon McBride, the Convoy Cowboy. The sympathy of all our members go to Eamon’s wife Eilish and the extended McBride family. He will be missed by all but not forgotten
